Monica Kelsey-Brown, Vice President
Dr. Monica Kelsey-Brown currently serves as the Director of Teaching and Learning for the Brown Deer School District. She has earned a Bachelor of Science in Education and a Master of Science in Education from UW-Whitewater. Dr. Brown went on to earn her Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction from UW-Madison. During that time she served as Director of Academic Support Services at UW-Whitewater where she was successful with securing both federal and state grant funds to assist with building the foundation for effectively implementing a variety of college and pre-college programs. From 2002 – 2015, she served as a 2nd grade teacher, Curriculum Generalist and a Student Achievement Supervisor with Milwaukee Public Schools. Dr. Kelsey-Brown is a member of Christ the King Baptist Church, Metropolitan Milwaukee Alliance of Black School Educators and is a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc, Upsilon Mu Omega Chapter.
